Mountain and Road Biking

Mountain and road bikes can be rented from one of the many great shops here in town or guests can bring their own. Personal bikes are best tuned before arrival. Guests are encouraged to have our Activities Director guide them, or even have the staff help run shuttles when needed. Moab offers all levels of riding from beginner to advanced.

RZRs

Explore town or a scenic drive on dirt roads within Moab in on of our RZRs. Each vehicle can accommodate four passengers and offers a unique way to see the sights.

Hiking and Trail Running

For guests looking to stop and take in the scenery of Moab there is no shortage of hiking and running trails. From beautiful streams to sandstone arches there is a level and length for everyone.

Kayaking Colorado River

Always a guest favorite is a day floating the Colorado river. Happy days provides two person inflatable kayaks and everything you need to enjoy a day on the water nestled between the red rock canyon walls. Enjoy white water rapids, lunch on a sandy beach and swimming in the water. No experience is necessary and guides ensure a fun and exciting float.

Sunset at Slickrock

Few people think of Moab and don’t envision the beautiful rolling red rocks of the Slickrock area. Guests are shuttled up above town to watch the sunset over Moab, the red rock and La Sal mountains. This beautiful show is not to be missed.

National Parks

With two National Parks guests could spend days exploring the landscape and still find wonder and amazement. From the iconic Delicate Arch to vast overlooks, within Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park there is never a shortage of picturesque moments. Guests can enjoy a guided driving tour through the parks or spend their days hiking the many trails they have to offer.

NOTE: Timed ticket entry required at Arches National Park. Request tickets here.

Relaxing at the Happy Days Pool

Soak away the day in your own private oasis. The 20′ x 50′ saltwater pool boasts a diving board and water feature. Lounge chairs and shade umbrellas surround the deck for those staying out of the sun. The cold plunge is kept at a crisp 45 degrees for those looking to cool off or soothe sore muscles. For those looking for a warmer way to relax, the 9 person hot tub is perfect for nighttime star gazing or a relaxing soak.

Happy Days Labyrinth

Nestled in a quiet corner of the Happy Days retreat is the garden labyrinth, a beautiful reminder of the importance of nurturing our bodies, minds and souls. A labyrinth is an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation and prayer tools. Guests are encouraged to walk the circle of the labyrinth in a slow and thoughtful manner. Guests find this as a beautiful way to quiet the world around them, find calm in their journey, and reemerge with a new sense of self and purpose for the day.
